Does it seem like you exercise and exercise but you just don't see any results?

Well, you're not doing anything wrong. It could be Mother Nature's fault. According to the Daily Mail online, a new study says that for 4 out of 10 people exercise is a big fat waste of time.
Researchers at Louisiana State University studied more than 700 people none of them had exercised for at least 6 months. The researchers put them through a 20-week endurance training program and then tested their fitness levels.
They found huge differences among the volunteers. For example, oxygen consumption - a good indicator of fitness - improved by 40% in some, but not at all in others. The same was true about blood pressure, heart rate and other fitness indicators. Overall, 58% of people improved their fitness level, but a whopping 42% showed NO improvement at all - and some actually got WORSE!
The researchers say biology is to blame. They found major genetic differences between the muscles of those who improved, and those who didn't
Experts say on average, exercise has clear benefits.
But it doesn't work for everyone. And those people may need to pay closer attention to what they EAT if they want to stay healthy.
